Rakusa

Meet Rakusa! He is one of my most recent characters to develop. He plays a minor role in two of my stories. One as a young child and the other in this form! 
For the contest he represents the Gurubashi tribe as he was raised in Bambala just outside Zul'Gurub.

During the Darkspear Rebellion a young Rakusa was trapped in the Spirit District with the rest of the troll population. Separated from his parents he huddled with his twin sister Kae in terror each day. Fortunately there was a certain rogue smuggling supplies in and children out of the city as part of the rebellion. With the aid of a young blood elf priestess, Setsù managed to get both Rakusa and his sister home to their parents who managed to escape execution and were stationed at a small refugee camp in Stranglethorn. At Bambala he met with an old shaman of the Gurubashi that taught him the ways of the elements.
Personality wise he grew into a very relaxed demeanor. Often amplifying that with a hookah. The only thing that would really excite him was storms. He is fascinated with lightning as an elemental shaman. If a thunderstorm was due he would be the first one outside on top of the tallest structure to watch the strikes. He often get's hit himself, leaving white streaks in his otherwise dark blue hair. For someone so mellow you will regularly see sparks arching across him casually like he is a giant battery. But he is still quite friendly, the smell of singed fur takes some getting used to though.
